The Genius of Bud Powell, originally titled Bud Powell's Moods, is a studio album by jazz pianist Bud Powell, released in 1956 by Mercury, Clef, featuring two sessions that Powell recorded in 1950 and 1951. The album was re-released on CD by Verve in 1992, with two additional takes of Tea for Two. The sessions also appear on The Complete Bud Powell on Verve 1994 box set. The two sessions mark Powell's fourth recording date as leader, following on from the February 1950 session for Jazz Giant. скачать торрент torrent торент скачать DTS CD SACD-R Hi-Res stereo оцифровки Vinyl-Rip DVD-Audio скачать музыку бесплатно скачать без регистрации. In the second, on May 1 1951, Powell performed in trio with Curley Russell, Max Roach, and solo. The album is critically prized among Powells releases. Among the more discussed of the albums tracks is the pianists composition Un Poco Loco A Little Crazy , which has been singled out by critics and cultural historians for. In 1951, Bud Powell was still at the height of his considerable powers. Included here are two sessions from that year: a trio with Ray Brown and Buddy Rich three takes of Tea for Two and a super-fast Hallelujah and eight solo piano tunes from a different date.
